Use the flexible auto discovery and query techniques provided by netPrefect™ to discover:

What devices are on your network, including their manufacturer and model number
-
The hardware subsystems your devices have, including disk, network and memory configuration
-
The software packages installed on your devices
- The network ports that are being used on your devices
When discovered, forward the information to the CMDB of your choice, either through directly accessing its database or creating files suitable for import, using the mechanism and/or tools provided by your CMDB.
